Netflix has released the first images from season 2 of Nobody Wants This, which sees Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe and Timothy Simons return for the new series

Netflix subscribers all shared the same response when the streaming platform dropped fresh first-look photos from the upcoming second season of Nobody Wants This. The popular romantic comedy series is set to make its comeback with a second installment this October, building on the triumph of its debut season last year.

On Thursday (August 14), Netflix posted a collection of images across social media platforms, offering a sneak peek at the new season and confirming that Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Jackie Tohn, and Arian Moayed will all return to their respective characters. New guest stars joining the upcoming season include Leighton Meester, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky and Arian Moayed.

Television enthusiasts rushed to express their excitement over the announcement, with countless fans celebrating Adam’s return as Noah Roklov, better known as the ‘Hot Rabbi’.

“THE HOT RABBI IS BACKKKKK,” one fan posted on X. Another chimed in: “Yaay, hot rabbi is back.”

A third Netflix watcher added: “Hot Rabbi, we missed you! ! ! ! #NobodyWantsThis.”, reports the Mirror.

Other viewers were simply delighted to learn Nobody Wants This is making a comeback and expressed their enthusiasm online. “GOD DAMN that was fast. Hell yeah! ! !” one person commented.

Another wrote: “I WAS WAITING FOR THIS! ! !”.

A third Nobody Wants This enthusiast said: “Excited to see what Season 2 has in store! Great cast vibes.”

A fourth remarked: “Kristen Bell AND Adam Brody back on my screen? ? I’m seated #NobodyWantsThis.”

Nobody Wants This season two will premiere on October 23 on Netflix, and based on the new preview images, it appears Noah (Adam Brody) and Joanne (Kristen Bell) may have resolved their issues. The duo appear intimate in the photos, despite the first season concluding with Joanne being uncertain about converting to Judaism following Noah’s promotion to head rabbi.

The official second season synopsis states: “First comes love, then comes life. The last time we saw agnostic podcast host Joanne and unconventional (hot) rabbi Noah their unmatched chemistry surprised everyone in their lives, including her sister Morgan, his brother Sasha and sister-in-law Esther, and even themselves.

“Their spark proved stronger than all of the obstacles trying to keep them apart. Now, they’re back and fully committed to merging their lives – and loved ones – together.

“But their differences still exist and can’t be ignored. The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together in spite of them.”
